Scalp to Source
A structured, interactive curriculum that takes you from zero to research-capable EEG analysis. The through-line is judgment: knowing what data should look like and recognising when something is wrong. MNE-Python is the vehicle; EEGLAB and FieldTrip equivalents sit alongside. Open datasets, open tools, nothing to sign up for.
During Phase 0 the curriculum opens at L0.4; L0.1 becomes the entry point once Level 0 is complete.
Featured labs
Raw Scroller review
Scroll real multichannel EEG on a 32-channel 10-20 subset, with window length, scale and montage controls and toggleable annotations.
Spot the Artifact review
Drill: label the artifact type in real 5-s multichannel segments, get immediate feedback with the tell-tale features highlighted, and keep a running score.
Filter Sandbox review
Flagship: live filter design on real 10-s traces, with the trace, spectrum, impulse and step response updating as you drag cutoffs and order.
Spine datasets
Two or three datasets recur across every level so familiarity accumulates. Nothing is vendored: the site links to official sources and ships only short, labelled snippets.
The ladder
Eight levels. Each rung adds one capability and its failure mode. Curriculum overview →
